This is Scorpio season, where death leads to change, renewal and creative rebirth. In this workshop we’ll move through the threshold into the fertile dark half of the year where life begins, seeds rest and new ideas form.
Restorative yoga is transformationally comfortable. Long-held, supported poses create the conditions to surrender muscle activity and release habitual tension in both the body and the mind. Expect to find yourself propped up by blankets, bolsters and blocks as you passively receive the generous benefits of the poses.
Yoga nidra or psychic sleep helps the nervous system shift gears into the relaxation response, slowing your brain waves and guiding you beyond your five senses and into transcendental states.
